Het herbarium is in de eigenlijke catalogus niet beschreven of omschreven, mogelijk is volstaan met de vermelding op de titelp. Verboden boeken. Aan het einde een fondslijst van Van der Aa (2 p.). Aantekening Paul Hoftijzer: Leiden, RA NA 1318, nr. 121 (3-2-1711) Overeenkomst met Anna Geertruit Stomphius, widow van prof. Hermann over de veiling van diens 'rariteijten en fraaijheden'. Vivié moet de catalogus maken en laten drukken in een oplage van 1000 exx., waarvan een aantal naar het buitenland moet worden gezonden; 50 exx. zijn bestemd voor de weduwe. Du Vivié ontvangt 7,5% van de opbrengst. Hieruit volgt dat er drie veilingen Hermann zijn geweest, namelijk 1695-04-25, 1705-11-02 en 1711-02-03. De laatstgenoemde catalogus ontbreekt in de databank, maar die bevat dan ook rariteiten en kunst.
