Description:
VGF 7 is a 17th-c. paper codex, its leaves measuring 300 × 235 mm. Its watermark is an escutcheon between two palms charged with three ringlets. It has 240 folia, comprised of 24 quires of 5 bifolia, which have been fastened together by the copyist. Written space occupies an area of 235 × 135 mm, spread over 28 lines. It was written by Petrus Rezander (cf. VGQ 12, 15, 16). There are no decorations. It has a 17th-c. red leather cover with gilt edges and golden decoration, displaying the coat of arms of Queen Christina of Sweden.
