Description:
VGF 16 is comprised of two volumes, today numbered 16i and 16ii. Both are paper codices. The first half of both volumes bear the foolscap watermark, the second half the emblem of the Seven Provinces of the Dutch Republic. The leaves measure 330 × 210 mm. Both volumes are largely constructed of quires of 4 bifolia, the first having 313 leaves, the second 338. Written space covers an area of 275/280 × 137, with the text spread across 28, 29, or 31 lines. The volumes are a copy of VGQ 20, ff. 7-209. The codices have a modern paper cover, with a leather spine.
