Description:
VGF 22 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 335 × 225. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 5926 (ff. 2r-177r, 210r-233r) and a coat or arms not mentioned by Briquet, possibly a loin and a bear. It is constructed of 30 quires of mostly 4 bifolia, totalling 239 folia. Quire signatures were added, and catchwords are visible throughout. The written space occupies an area of 220 × 125 mm spread across 30 lines (ff. 2r-113v); 220 × 130 mm across 30 lines (ff. 114r-233v); 220 × 140 across 28 lines (ff. 234r-235v). Three scribes worked on the codex: the first on ff. 2r-113v, the second on ff. 114r-233v, and the third on ff. 234r-236r. Initials and inscriptions are rubricated, other than on ff. 234r-236r.
