Description:
VGF 31 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 320 × 220 mm. It contains an Ancre dans une cercle surmontée d’une étoile, et accompagnee de contremarque watermark not found in Briquet. Written space covers an area of 210 × 120 mm, over 26-27 lines marked in hard point ruling.
It is constructed of 2 quires of 4 bifolia, totalling 16 folia. Inscriptions and initials are rubricated. It has a 17th-c. parchment cover with leather straps, identical to that of VGF 25.
