VGF 32 is a paper codex. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 12827-31, 9494, 9668, 11421-29 and 12827-31. The codex is constructed 52 quires of mostly 3-4 bifolia, into which 4 folia which have been appended or inserted. Various forms of quire signatures appear throughout most of the codex, written by different copyists and a rubricator. Catchwords are visible in places. In the 17th c. the codex was foliated in the lower margins. Written space covers an area of 275 × 160 mm over 29-38 lines (ff. 2-68); 200 × 110 mm over 26-27 lines (ff. 69-122, 157-212, 263-395), 220 × 120 mm over 29 lines (ff. 127-156, 213-218), 230/240 × 130/135 mm over 22-32 lines (ff. 219-250), 250/275 × 135 mm over 29-36 lines (ff. 251-262). The codex appears to have been written by several different scribes, the fourth being Franciscus Vagenos, while the first and most recent hand appears in the margins throughout the codex. Various hands added corrections and titles in the margin of the text. Initials and inscriptions are rubricated on ff. 69-125, 127-249, 263-395, and lemmata are rubricated on ff. 377-395. It has a new, dark leather cover.
