Description:
VGF 37 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 310 × 210. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 3838. It is constructed of 5 quires of mostly 4 bifolia. Catchwords are visible. Written space occupies an area of 195 × 105 mm, spread over 26 lines. Decorations, inscriptions, and initials are rubricated at the beginning. A later hand has added a handful of marginal notes, where the copyist has omitted something. The codex has a 17th-c. paper cover protected by a leather spine with golden decoration, and gilt-edged pages.
