Description:
VGF 47 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 300 × 200 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 12733 and 12745). It is constructed from 17 quires of 4 bifolia. Catchwords are visible on several pages. The codex appears to have been foliated by the scribe. Written space occupies an area of 230/240 × 120 mm, over 24-28 lines. The codex was written by Constantinus Palaeocappa. It has a 17th-c. sheepskin cover, made for Melchisédech Thévenot.
