Description:
VGF 63 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 295 × 205 mm. It is constructed of 7 quires of 5 bifolia, totalling 70 folia. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 4412. Quires were numbered at the beginning and end with Greek letters and Arabic numerals by the scribe. A few catchwords are visible. Written space occupies an area of 190 × 100 mm, over 100 lines in hard point ruling. The codex was likely written by Iohannes Rhosus. Decorations, initials, and inscriptions are rubricated at the beginning of books. Emendations and alternative readings were added in places by a 16th-c. hand. It has a new paper cover.
