Description:
VGF 64 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 282 × 210 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 4846, 3676, 7979, and 6269-6271). It is constructed of 62 quires of mostly 4 bifolia. Quire signatures, largely by the scribe, are visible. Several leaves at the beginning and end of the codex are damaged and water stained. Written space covers an area of 180/190 × 90/100 mm, over 14 lines (ff. 1r-160r) and 15-19 lines (f. 161v-493r). Inscriptions, initials, interlineal paraphrases, and initials of scholia are written in red. It has a new dark leather cover.
