Description:
VGF 70 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 283x195 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 9639. It is constructed of 35 quires of a single bifolium, totalling 70 folia. Quires signatures were added by the scribe in Greek letters, and a later hand foliated the codex in Arabic numerals. The text covers an area of 200 × 110 mm, spread over 24-25 lines. It was written by Nicolaus Nancelis. The hand which added the lemmata and diagrams corrected and foliated the codex, and is the same hand as appears in VGF 62, 68, and 69. There are no decorations. The binding is identical to VGF 62, 68, and 69.
