Description:
VGF 71 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 278 × 190 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet 11417. It is constructed of 15 quires of 4 bifolia, totalling 120 folia. Quires are numbered at the beginning and end with red Greek letters. The codex was foliated in the lower margins up to f. 73 by G. Budaeus, who also added lemmata in the margins, as had the scribe. The text covers an area of 190 × 100, over 21 lines in hard point ruling. It was written by Georgius Hermonymus. Space has been left for initials at the beginning. Initials are rubricated within the text; inscriptions are also rubricated. It has a new dark leather cover.
