Description:
VGF 73 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring around 282 × 205 mm. It is constructed from 24 quires of 4 bifolia + 2 folia, totalling 194 folia. Folia were labelled by a later hand. Many leaves are badly preserved, especially at the beginning and end. The written area covers 225 × 170 mm, over 38 lines until f. 99, from which point the form varies even though the codex was written by a single scribe. Lines are marked with hard point ruling in places. Decorations, inscriptions, and letters are rubricated, and verses from the Psalms have also been written in red. A number of notes and comments have been added in the margins by Patr. Junius. It has a new dark leather cover.
