Description:
VGF 74 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 273 × 190 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet 12618-41. It is constructed from 50 quires of mostly 48 bifolia. Quire signatures appear in red at the beginning and end of quires. Ff. 1r-111r are numbered with Arabic numerals, probably by G. Budaeus. The quire containing ff. 40-47 is badly bound, and should be read in this order: ff. 40, 46, 42-45, 41, 47. Catchwords are visible. Written space occupies an area of 190 × 100 mm, over 21 lines. The codex was written by Georgius Hermonymus. The title is rubricated, space has been left at the beginning of the works for initials. It has a new dark leather cover.
