Description:
VGQ 24 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 227 × 150 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 8821-22 and 12618-641. It is constructed of 9 quires of 4 bifolia + 1*, totalling 1* + 71 folia. Quire signatures have been added in red Greek letters. Catchwords are visible. The text covers an area of 140 × 85 mm over 18 lines. The codex was written by Georgius Hermonymus, who amended the text in places. Space has been left at the start of each work for initials, while titles are rubricated. It has an ornate 16th-c. dark leather cover.
