Description:
VGQ 26 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 225 × 157 mm. It is constructed of 6 quires of mostly 4 bifolia, totalling 47 folia. Quire signatures were added by the copyist. Written space covers an area of 150 × 85 mm over 24 lines. The codex was written by Angelus Vergecius. Marginal decorations on f. 1 and major initials are drawn in a variety of colours. Decorations and initials on f. 41r are in gold, while the first verse of the title is written in golden capitals. It has a 17th-c. dark leather cover, with black and gold decoration and straps made of yellow and purple (now faded) cloth. It has gilt-edged pages.
