Description:
VGQ 31 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 220 × 165 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 6289-91. It is constructed of 8 quires of 4 bifolia, totalling 1* + 63 folia. A handful of folia have been labelled, and catchwords are visible. A later hand has noted omissions and made occasional corrections. The text covers an area of 165 × 60 mm over 22 lines. The codex has a 17th-c. parchment cover, of a kind typically associated with A. Petavius.
