Description:
VGQ 33 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 212 × 155 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 2576, 2509, 3382, and 2533. It is constructed of 12 quires of around 4 bifolia + 14 folia, totalling 166 folia. A handful of folia have been numbered. Written space covers an area of ca.150 × 90 mm, over 16 and (ff. 3v-31r, 36r-89r) 13 lines (ff. 97r-163r); 140 × 95 mm over 30 lines (f. 3r); 150 × 90 mm over 27 lines (ff. 33r-34r); 150 × 100 mm over 32 lines (f. 35); 145 × 100 mm over 22 lines (ff. 92-94); 135 × 80 mm over 24 lines (f. 96r). Lines are marked in hard point ruling. Although the script varies, the codex was written by Michael Suliardus. The beginnings of tragedies are distinguished by rubricated initials. The margins of f. 36r have been decorated in red, while interlineal notes have also been written in red. It has a new dark leather cover.
