Description:
VGQ 44 is a convolute of two paper codices, its leaves measuring 207 × 140 mm. It has a new paper cover.
Part 1 (ff. 1-24) contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 7657, 9953-64, 705, and 7673). It is constructed of 3 quires of 4 bifolia. Written space occupies an area of 150 × 90 mm, over 31 lines. Initials are rubricated.
Part 2 (ff. 25-70) contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 3668, 12100, 15845, and 9026). It is constructed of 6 quires of mostly 4 bifolia. Written space occupies an are of 150 × 90 over 26 lines in hard point ruling. Inscriptions and initials are rubricated. The codex appears to have been written by a single scribe, except ff. 68v-69r where two other hands can be seen.
