Description:
VGQ 47 is a paper codex, its leaves measuring 212 × 145 mm. It contains watermarks similar to Briquet nos. 5133, 6306, and 11845-50. It is constructed of 9 quires of mostly 4 bifolia + 3 folia, totalling 72 folia. Quire signatures were added by the scribe. Prayers to Christ appear in the upper margins throughout. Text covers an area of 165/180 × 105 mm, over 27-31 lines. The codex was written by single scribe, except for ff. 1r-3r, which was written a number of hands from the same period. The codex has a new paper cover.
