Description:
VMI 3 is a convolute of various paper fragments, containing 61 folia. It has a new paper cover.
I (ff. 2-6) was written by I. Vossius. Its leaves measure 330 × 220 mm.
II (ff. 7-14) contains lettre B dans un écu sommé d’une couronne, avec le nom Jaque Lebé watermarks. Its leaves measure 340 × 210 mm. Text covers an area of 255 × 115 mm over 38 lines. It was written by P. Goldmannus.
III (ff. 15-36) contains leaves measuring 332 × 215 mm. It is constructed of 3 quires of 3-4 bifolia. Text covers an area of 250/260 × 110 mm over 47 lines. Quire signatures were added by another hand.
IV (ff. 37-56) contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 2543. Its leaves measure 315 × 220 mm. It is constructed of 2 quires of 5 bifolia. A quire signature is visible, and folia were numbered 186-205 by a 17th-c. hand. Text covers an area of 240 × 130 mm over 33 lines. Inscriptions and initials are rubricated on f. 55v. It was written by a single scribe, other than a few lines of ff. 40r-v and 41v. Inscriptions were added by P. Junius in the spaces left by the scribe.
