VMI 16 is a paper convolute of 4 parts, containing 42 [+28a-c] folia. It has a new paper cover.
Part I (ff. 2r-10r, 18r-28c) contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 439. It contains leaves measuring ca.217 × 140 mm. It is constructed of 3 quires of 3-4 bifolia + 3 folia. ff. 11-17 were taken from other codices and inserted between ff. 10 and 18. Text covers an area of 150/155 × 90 mm over 24 lines in hard point ruling. Inscriptions and initials are rubricated.
Part II (ff. 11-17) contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 4177. Its leaves measure 220 × 142 mm. Text covers an area of 180/185 × 110 mm over 36-39 lines. Ff. 11r and 15r contain rubricated initials.
Part III (ff. 29-36) contains watermarks similar to Briquet no. 816. Its leaves measure 205 × 140 mm. It is constructed of a single quire of 4 bifolia. Catchwords appear at the end of the quire. Text covers an area of 130 × 90 mm over 12 lines. Inscriptions, initials, and interlineal scholia are rubricated.
Part IV (ff. 37-42) contains leaves measuring 202 × 135 mm. It does not appear to contain any watermarks. Text covers an area of 155 × 90 mm over 25 lines.
