VMI 22 is a paper convolute composed of various quires, totalling 74 folia.
Part I (ff. 1-12) contains leaves measuring 193 × 140 mm (ff. 1-8) and 215 × 155 mm (ff. 9-11).
Part II (f. 13) contains a single folio, measuring 205 × 150 mm. Text covers an area of 175 × 100 mm over 32 lines.
Part III (ff. 14-21) contains leaves measuring 203 × 150 mm. It is constructed of a single quire of 4 bifolia. Text covers an area of 150 × 100 mm over 28 lines.
Part IV (ff. 22-37) dates to 1644. It contains leaves measuring 194 × 145 mm. It was written by P. Junius.
