VLF 4 is a parchment convolute of 3 manuscripts, totalling 37 folia. It has a 19th-c. cardboard cover with paper protection in different colours. The spine and corners are in parchment. On fol. Iv, which appears to be a 17th-c. paper leaf, we see an index to the entire codex, written by the same hand that was responsible for Alexander Petavius' bookcatalogue (now cod. VLQ 76).
