Description:
VLF 57 is a 15th-c. paper codex, its leaves measuring 288 x 210 mm. It is constructed of 9 quires of 6 bifolia, totalling 105 leaves (210 pages). One folio is cut out between f. 84 and f. 85. Only a few quire signatures are remnant in the lower margins. Written space covers (ff. 1r-17v) 205/210 x 130 mm (40-43 lines), or (ff. 18r-104r) 210/200 x 145 mm, divided into 2 columns of 38-33 lines. The text is written in Littera gothica cursiva. Painted initials have not been filled out. Inscriptions and subscriptions are rubricated. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding protected by multi-coloured paper; the spine and corners are in parchment.
