Description:
VLF 72 is a paper codex from the second half of the 15th c., its leaves measuring 283 x 210 mm. Paper marks are similar to Briquet nos 6693, 4862, 3764. The codex is constructed of 20 quires of 4 or 5 bifolia, totalling 186 leaves (372 pages). Catchwords are still visible (added by the scribe). Written space covers 205 x 100 mm (28 lines in hard point ruling). The text is written in Littera humanistica cursiva. Chapters start with blue initials; not all initials have been filled out. The codex has a 19th-c. cardboard cover with dark leather protection.
