Description:
VLF 89 is a parchment codex from the end of the 14th c., its leaves measuring 283 x 220 mm. It is constructed of 1 quire of 4 bifolia, and 3 quires of 5 bifolia, totalling 42 leaves (84 pages). Written space covers 230/235 x 160/150 mm, divided into 2 columns of 56 lines in hard point ruling. The text was written in Littera textualis. Initials and inscriptions were not filled out. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding, protected by sheepskin, typical for codices from the library of Melchisédech Thévenot.
