Description:
VLF 92 is a paper codex from the second half of the 15th c., its leaves measuring 310 x 210. Its watermarks are similar to Briquet 14790-14803. The codex is constructed of 1 quire of 6 bifolia, 1 quire of 4 bifolia, another quire of 6 bifolia, plus 1 folio, totalling 33 leaves (66 pages). The margins of the first 5 leaves are damaged, while some leaves show cracks and many others are tainted by moisture. Written space covers 245 x 145/150 mm, divided into 2 columns of 42-48 lines (ff. 1-19); elsewhere it covers 225/230 x 145 mm, divided into 2 columns of 41-45 lines (ff. 20-33). The text is written in Littera cursiva. Minor initials in red start off each chapter up to f. 21r, after which initials are in dark ink and some have not been filled out. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding protected by multi-coloured paper and a parchment spine.
