Description:
VLF 100 is a paper codex from the first half of the 16th c., its leaves measuring 285 x 205. Watermarks are Briquet nos 3407, 3409, (similar to) 99, 3447, 3432. The codex is constructed of 28 quires of 5 or (mostly) 6 bifolia, totalling 317 leaves (634 pages). There are catchwords visible. A 17th-c. hand added foliation. Written space covers 230/235 x 145 mm (28-34 lines) (ff. 1-24) / 245/230 x 140 mm (21-34 lines) (ff. 25-76) / 215 x 125 mm (30 lines) (ff. 81v-317). The text was written by three scribes in Littera cursiva. Several slightly later hands added comments in the margins. The codex has a 19th-c. cardboard binding, protected by multi-coloured paper.
