Description:
VLF 109 is a 15th-c. parchment codex, its leaves measuring 275 x 195 mm. It comprises 4 quires of 4 biofolia, totalling 32 leaves (64 pages). Written space covers 195/200 x 140 mm, divided into 2 columns of 51-52 lines. The text is written in Littera hybrida. A lavishly decorated major initial in blue and red is on f. 1r. Each new part starts off with minor initials in blue or red. Capitals within the text are highlighted in red. There are no inscriptions or subscriptions. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding with red leather protection.
