Description:
VLF 117 is a paper codex from the second half of the 15th c., its leaves measuring c. 280 x 210 mm. Its watermark is similar to Briquet no. 11754. It is constructed of 1 quire of 5 bifolia minus 1 leaf, and 1 quire of 2 bifolia, totalling 13 leaves (26 pages). There are catchwords on f. 9v. A 17th-c. hand added foliation in Arabic numerals. Written space covers 210 x 130 mm (42 lines in hard point ruling). The text is written in Littera humanistica cursiva. Initials and inscriptions have not been filled out. The codex has a 19th-c. cardboard binding with multi-coloured paper protection. The manuscript used to be part of VLO 99.
