Description:
VLO 17 is a parchment codex from the second half of the 14th c., its 123 leaves measuring 215 x 135 mm. Written space varies. The text was written by 2 scribes in Littera gothica textualis. Folios 49-54 were inserted later and date from the 15th c. These were also written by 2 scribes, this time in Littera humanistica. The initials at the start of a new book are decorated. There are no inscriptions. There is a (15th-c. ?) family crest in the margins of ff. 1r and 55r. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding with dark leather protection.
