Description:
VLO 59 is a 15th-c. parchment codex, its 81 leaves measuring 198 x 140 mm. Written space covers 125 x 80 mm (27 lines). The text was written by 2 scribes (one of which is a priest, Petrus Antonides) in Littera humanistica textualis. There are decorated major and minor initials at the start of a new book or carmen. Inscriptions are rubricated. From f. 40 onwards, initials and inscriptions have not always been filled out. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding with parchment protection.
