Description:
VLO 64 is a 12th-c. vellum codex, its 69 leaves measuring 190 x 140 mm. Written space covers 150/145 x 85/95 mm (30-40 lines in hard point ruling). The text may have been written by several hands (whose writing is difficult to distinguish) in Littera prae-gothica. At the start of a new work, book, or part, there are decorated major initials. Several letters within the text are in red, yellow or blue. The text as well as the margins contain coloured paragraph signs. Inscriptions are rubricated. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding, made for Melchisédech Thévenot.
