Description:
VLQ 3 is a paper codex from the second half of the 15th c., its 225 leaves measuring 273 x 210 mm. Its watermarks are similar to Briquet nos 5575 and 6277. Written space covers 200 x 130 mm (40 lines in hard point ruling). The text was written by Bartholomaeus de Colunnis da Chio, a 15th-c. book printer, in Littera cursiva humanistica. Major and minor initials are rubricated, as are inscriptions. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding, protected by sheepskin, typical for codices from the library of Melchisédech Thévenot.
