Description:
VLQ 5 is a parchment codex from the second half of the 8th c. or first half of the 9th, its 38 leaves measuring 280 x 163 mm. Written space covers 225/230 x 115/130 mm (28 lines in hard point ruling). The text is mostly written by a single scribe in Minuscula prae-carolina. Initials and inscriptions are in dark ink. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding with red paper protection and a dark leather spine.
