Description:
VLQ 37 is a parchment codex from the first half of the 15th c., its 124 leaves measuring 260 x 200 mm. Written space covers 180/185 x 115/120 mm (32-34 lines in hard point and dark ink). The text was written in Littera fere humanistica. At the start of each new book are major initials in different colours. Minor initials in red or blue begin each chapter. Inscriptions are rubricated. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding, protected by sheepskin, typical for codices from the library of Melchisédech Thévenot.
