Description:
VLQ 38 is a parchment codex from the second half of the 10th c. or 11th c., its 154 leaves measuring c. 255 x 178 mm. Some leaves at the end of the manuscript show water damage. Written space covers 190 x 120 mm (26 lines in hard point ruling). The text was written by a single scribe in Minuscula carolina. On ff. 1r-37v some scenes from the comedies are depicted in different colours. The codex has a 16th/17th-c. cardboard binding with parchment protection. Two leather straps that used to be part of the binding are now lost.
