Description:
VLQ 49 is a 12th-c. parchment codex, its 56 leaves measuring 252 x 180 mm. Written space covers 185/190 x 140, divided into 2 columns of 40-43 lines in dark ink. The text was written by two scribes in Littera prae-gothica textualis. Initials are in red or blue; inscriptions are rubricated. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding, protected by sheepskin, typical for codices from the library of Melchisédech Thévenot.
