Description:
VLQ 57 is a 15th-c. parchment codex, its 140 leaves measuring 255 x 180 mm. Written space covers 165/175 x 110/115 mm, divided into 2 columns of 31-32 lines in dark ink. The text was written by a single scribe in Littera hybrida. Initials are in blue and red. Some letters are highlighted in green. Inscriptions are rubricated. The codex has a 15th-c. binding made of dark leather, with two copper locks. The binding seems to be the original one, made by the Canons Regular of Saint-Salvator.
