Description:
VLQ 70 is a parchment and paper convolute, containing 157 leaves. The codex has a 19th-c. cardboard binding with multi-coloured protection. Its spine and corners are in parchment.
Part 1 (1-46) is made of parchment and dates from the second half of the 13th c. Its leaves measure 237 x 155/165 mm. Written space covers 195 x 120/125 mm (37-38 lines in dark ink). The text is written in Littera gothica textualis.
Part 2 (47-146) is made of parchment and also dates from the second half of the 13th c. (possibly 1257). The leaves measure 237 x 165/170 mm. Written space covers 185/195 x 130 mm (43-51 lines in dark ink). The text is written in Littera gothica textualis.
Part 3 (147-157) is made of paper and dates from the first half of the 17th c. Its leaves measure 237 x 160 mm. The text is written in Littera cursiva.
