Description:
VLQ 74 is a parchment codex from the first half of the 11th c., its 152 leaves measuring 244 x 188 mm. Written space covers 175 x 135 mm (20 lines in hard point ruling). The codex was written by a single scribe in Littera carolina (except for ff. 71v-72r, which were written in an early-12th-c. hand). Ff. 1 and 2 are from the second half of the 11th c. They measure 244 x 175 and 244 x 180 mm; written space covers 190 x 125 (20 lines in hard point ruling). The text here was written by 2 scribes in Minuscula carolina. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding with dark leather protection.
