Description:
VLQ 85 is a parchment convolute containing 32 leaves. The codex has a 17th-c. cardboard binding, protected by sheepskin, typical for codices from the library of Melchisédech Thévenot.
Part 1 (1-24) dates from the second half of the 14th c. Its leaves measure 228 x 170 mm. Written space covers 180/195 x 130/135 mm, divided into 2 columns (47-59 lines). The text was written by a single scribe in Littera notularis.
Part 2 (25r-32v) dates from the 14th c. Its leaves measure 206 x 133/142 mm. Written space covers 170/175 x 110 mm, divided into 2 columns of 51-58 lines. The text was written by a single scribe in Littera notularis.
