Description:
VLQ 87 is a mid-9th-c. parchment codex, its 95 leaves measuring 235 x 230 mm. Written space covers 165 x 150/155 mm, divided into 2 columns of 21-22 lines in hard point ruling. The text was written by a single scribe in Minuscula carolina. Folia 86-94 were later inserted; they date from the second half of the 9th c., measuring 230 x 160 mm. Their written space covers 160/165 x 120 mm (27 lines in hard point ruling). The text was written by several scribes in Minuscula sub-carolina. The codex has a 16th/17th-c. parchment binding, probably made for Paul Pétau.
