Full Description:
Martin at Fort Johnson to Alexander McLeod. Acknowledging his letter from Mr McDonald of Kingsborough. Relates to the holding of the southern colonies of North and South Carolina by the formation of upwards of 3,000 loyal men from the Highlands of Scotland under the leadership of their 'chiefs to the eastward'. Preventing the Province of Virginia from sending any 'Succour to the Northward...Rebellion'.
