Full Description:
Vice Admiral Samuel Graves (Admiral of the White and Commander of His Majesty's ships on the St Lawrence) to Lieutenant Henry Mowat. Whereas the four rebellious New England governments have fired upon the king's shipping and imprisoned his crews, orders to be issued for an expedition along the eastern coast of New England, to burn and lay waste all such port towns (like Marblehead, Salem and those in Casco Bay), and seize or destroy all enemy vessels. Reports that the Americans are planning to invade Nova Scotia [from Maine].
