Full Description:
Barrington to Lieutenant-Colonel Roy. Authorisation for his appointment as Superintendent of Stores (and 'necessaries') for the forces in North America, and his allowance of 40s per diem [i.e. day]. Bermuda (97963) - List of iron ordnance and stores delivered to the Hon J Tollemache of HMS 'Scorpion' and shipped by the transport 'Palliser' under the master W Waters. On the back there is a note testifying that the ordnance was sent to Boston on 29 June 1782 (this note is now missing).
