Full Description:
Copy of the association entered into by the Loyalists of Maryland in the year 1775. To support and defend His Majesty's person, his crown and dignity against all enemies and to endeavour to put an end to the present rebellion. The resolution deposited in the hands of Hugh Kelly and James Fleming of Frederick County. Copies of instructions sent out to the nominated officers of the Maryland 'Royal Retaliators', and (copies) of oaths sent out to the Menonites, German Baptists, Quakers and non-jurist loyalists.
