Full Description:
Germain to Howe, on the relief of Quebec. Concerning the appointment of Major-General John Burgoyne to be second in command to Carleton, and his despatch to Canada with the eight regiments from Ireland. Orders for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland guards to serve in North America, while the rebel privateers that were taken by Admiral Graves' squadron are to be returned for prisoner exchanges.
