Barrington to Howe. Regarding the embarking of recruits from Scotland for the 23rd Regiment in North America, the granting of three months leave of absence to Lieutenant Hamilton (40th), the diaposal of Lieutenant Williams commission on account of his ill health, and the sending of a duplicate list of promotions.
